The staff can order medications for you. We recommend that residents use the community's contracted pharmacy provider because they provide additional services that are generally unavailable from other providers including:
- The pharmacy is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to handle emergencies and answer questions.
- The pharmacy provides delivery services at no extra charge, including after hours and on weekends.
- The pharmacy provides an entire system for medication distribution and monitoring.
- The pharmacy provides in-service training for medication technicians minimizes risk of potential errors.
- The pharmacy provides concurrent therapeutic interventions that result in better resident care.
