Every day opportunities for involvement abound. Activities are carefully planned to engage residents according to preferences and abilities. Our calendar is filled with events, exercise options, fun parties, and more. Friendships develop between residents, as well as between families and staff.

Reassuring routines, reminiscing activities, and personal conversations help our residents find pleasure in each day. We create moments of joy by making meaningful connections.

We improve self esteem with opportunities to give care and share talents or wisdom. We build legacies by learning and telling each person’s life story. We nurture, support, and celebrate diversity and freedom of choice. We demonstrate respect and honor individuality at all times. We help people appreciate each other and their place in the world. At Willow Creek we believe that every life story is important. Our stories define us as individuals. Detailed life history information is embraced and integrated into residents’ daily routines.

Nothing replaces family and the love and support that they give. We promote family involvement by offering special family gathering events, intergenerational activities, and support programs. Families are encouraged to visit at any time, for as long as they like. We love to accommodate family gatherings for birthday or anniversary celebrations. Of course pets are welcome, because they‘re part of the family too.
