Willow Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care at Buffalo Community has developed a distinctive environment and unique approach. Our community looks and feels just like home. The colors, lighting, and patterns are soothing to our residents, and our furniture has the comfort of home.

Activity interaction and involvement

Activities are scheduled at Willow Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care Community to promote cognitive, sensory, and physical skills, while taking into consideration each resident’s specific habits and interests. We work to create a balance of privacy and community.

Personal care services are provided in a manner that suits each resident’s individual needs, allowing them to maintain the highest quality of life. Memory Care staff understands the requirements of Alzheimer’s care, and our goal is to create rewarding experiences for the residents and their families.

At Willow Creek we provide:

• A purposefully designed environment, including interior and exterior wandering paths and a home-like setting with familiar living spaces.
• A safe and secure environment. All exterior entrances are secured and alarmed at all times to ensure the residents’ safety and well being.
• A holistic approach to caring for the residents. Specially trained staff are responsible for caring for all aspects of residents’ daily needs. Through this approach, we can more readily detect changes in our residents’ needs and modify their care accordingly.
• A continuation of residents’ lifelong interests incorporated into their daily activities.
• Well-balanced nutritious meals and snacks designed by a Registered Dietitian.
• Scheduled transportation to medical appointments and social outings.
• Specially-designed recreational, leisure, and life skills programs planned by a full-time Enrichment Coordinator.
• Monthly support groups for family members.

Services include:

• Nurses / Medication Assistants - 24 hours per day
• Caregivers with additional certified training specifically designed for Alzheimer's patients
• Dietitian available for residents with special diets
• Medication administration
• Clinical evaluations
• Creative activity program: arts and crafts, physical exercises, music therapy, gardening, and field trips
• Hot, nutritious meals and snacks
